This client has a huge library of publications. They needed an indexing system that could quickly index and search this library for relevant titles, authors, copyright dates, etc.
We worked in conjunction with MCCI to install a Laserfiche document management system as well as import Terra's data into Laserfiche using our Fiche Feeder product.
Articles Tracking
Fiche Sync
For Terra, they had the need to synchronize data between their Articles Tracking System (see above) and LaserFiche. We accomplished this by customizing our Fiche Sync software to work for them. With the click of a button, the new information that was entered into their Article Tracking system is sent to LaserFiche eliminating dual data entry. The information is then accessible in LaserFiche for fast lookup and scanning.
Fiche Feeder
Before Terra could fully utilize their LaserFiche software, they needed data from their Articles Tracking system to be inserted into the document management system. To do this, we used our Fiche Feeder product. Using Fiche Feeder's wizard interface, Terra was able to import all 60,000 records into LaserFiche overnight. These documents were indexed and ready for fast searching and scanning by the next morning.
