Paul Consulting, Inc and University of South Florida making a difference in Workers Compensation Costs

TALLAHASSEE, Fl, January 29, 2009 - Paul Consulting Inc, a Tallahassee software development company was
recently awarded Phase II of the Consultation Management System (CMS) by the University of South Florida.
The CMS is a web-based system that benefits the State of Florida by tracking the synergies of workers
compensation claims; high growth industries; and safety visitations and reporting the benefits of safety programs
throughout the State of Florida. Charlene Vespi, Program Director USF SafetyFlorida Consultation Program, says
about the system, “For the first time, we will be able to not only track the costs of workers compensation claims,
but we will also be able to quantify the savings associated with training programs that we are performing
throughout the State of Florida. Instead of constantly raising insurance rates for all Florida corporations, we should
be investing in these proven cost-effective training programs. When this system is fully implemented, the State of
Florida will be able to prove that hundreds of millions of dollars in avoided workers compensation claims can be
achieved through better corporate training programs.” By being able to perform a Cost/Benefit analysis on workers
compensation claims, and by displaying these savings in easy to understand web-based graphs, charts and reports,
the University of South Florida, for the first time, will be able to quantify the effectiveness of its workers
